Our fight against the pandemic has not been easy and is still not over. I just want to share with you how I coped up with the pandemic and what's the most important thing I have learned. Since the pandemic has began, our lives have totally changed. We can no longer do what we used to do. We also don't see the people we used to be with. But I have learned how to value time, especially in giving time to myself. We all know that our time has been limited because we're not allowed to go out and there are protocols that must be followed. During the months we were in quarantine, it affected the mental health of the youth, including me. Because of that, we had a different coping mechanism on how to be happy and keep up again in the ever new era. Now I'm always alone in my room, I always listen to music and podcast and it calms me down when I'm going through something. I also love to watch movies to divert my attention to other things and to avoid thinking about my problems. I just want to add that not because my coping mechanism is listening to music, it is applicable to others. There are people who just want their surroundings to be quiet and there are some who just want to sleep so that they don't think about their problems and at the same time the spiritual body is also at rest.

We all have silent battles and have our own ways to overcome it and I don't intend to invalidate others. I just want to remind all the readers that as much as possible, don't keep your problems to yourself because there is someone who's ready to listen to you and will never get tired of listening to you. If you also need someone to lean on but you don't have a friend, just hit me up and I'll listen to you. I know it's tiring but I hope we look forward to the dreams of our young selves. Remember that the best lesson is learned during hard times and when we make mistakes.

How about you? What's your coping mechanism and your biggest realization/s in the pandemic? I want to know yours - it might be a big help to other people who are struggling right now. You can leave your answers in the comments section.
